Judge Victoria Steele has dedicated her career to serving the people of Southern Arizona with integrity, compassion, and fairness. For nearly 10 years, Victoria has served her community as an Arizona State Legislator, crafting thoughtful legislation and working collaboratively to solve complex problems.
She brought that same commitment to public service to the bench—where she has been administering the law compassionately, carefully, and justly since 2022.
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
Before her election to the Legislature, Victoria spent 25 years as a television and radio news reporter, giving voice to community concerns and holding institutions accountable.
She was also a licensed professional counselor specializing in mental health, substance misuse, and trauma.
Throughout her career in public service, education, and mental health, Victoria has earned a reputation for integrity, fairness, trustworthiness, and compassion. These core values guide every decision she makes.
As your Animal Welfare Court Judge for Pima County Precinct 1, Victoria has made a difference in the many cases she has presided over.

Victoria believes that every individual’s rights are sacred and that all people deserve to be treated equally and with respect. Everyone who enters her courtroom will have a fair opportunity to be heard. She listens carefully, and applies the law thoughtfully and fairly.
